I enter camera club competitions, but I have accepted that, for the most part, my work is not the kind of thing that appeals to judges/assessors. However, I was pleased to get a Highly Commended [effectively 4th place] in this evening's competition [Monochrome, Advanced section] with my picture Reaching Up:
